The district will not discriminate or retaliate against an employee for the lawful exercise of paid sick leave rights pursuant to state law. If an employee feels that he/she is being discriminated or retaliated against because of his/her lawful use of paid sick leave, the employee should notify the general manager or board president. If an employee is not satisfied with the district’s response, the employee may contact the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries as follows:
