The developer shall provide no less than 48 hours’ notice to all affected property owners and residents prior to beginning construction. The developer may be required to hire a licensed arborist to assess impacts to existing significant (six-inch diameter at breast height) trees when utility installation work falls within the dripline. The developer shall continuously maintain protection of all work from damage and shall protect the property of others from injury or loss arising in connection with the project work.

The developer shall make good any such damage, injuries, or loss. The developer shall protect the adjacent property as provided by law and the contract documents, and shall provide and maintain all passageways, guard fences, traffic control, detours, road closures, barricades, signs, flaggers, lights, and other facilities for protection required by public authority or local conditions. The developer shall bear the risk of loss or damage for all finished or partially finished work until the entire project is completed and accepted by the district.
