(1) Date and Time of Meetings. The regular meetings of the board of commissioners shall be held at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Whenever Thursday upon which a regular meeting is scheduled falls on a legal holiday, regular meetings will be held on the prior Tuesday unless otherwise scheduled by the commissioners.

(2) Meeting Place. The regular meeting place of the board of commissioners shall be at district headquarters, 15205 41st Ave. SE, Bothell, Washington, provided the board may by motion provide that meetings shall be held at other locations, subject to any notice required by law.

(3) Special Meetings. Special meetings may be called at any time by the president of the board, or a majority of the board members. Special meeting notification shall follow the procedures for special meetings set forth in the Open Public Meetings Act (RCW 42.30.080).

(4) Emergency Meetings. If, by reason of an emergency, there is a need for expedited action by the commissioners to meet the emergency, the secretary of the board of commissioners may provide for a meeting time and site, and the notice requirements of Chapter 42.30 RCW shall be suspended during such emergency. To the extent possible, notice of such emergency meeting will be delivered personally, by telephone, telegram, or mail to the members of the board and interested persons, and shall specify the time and place of the emergency meeting and the business to be transacted. Any action taken by the commissioners at such emergency meeting may be reconsidered by the commissioners at its next regular meeting.
